1. It’s Cheap yet very reliable
This is the most important reason why I’m recommending Hostinger to my customers. When you’re just starting out, you don’t need a featured-packed hosting yet specially if your business only require just a few pages. Hostinger’s shared hosting is one of the most cost-effective solutions on the market. You get a lot of bang for your buck. It’s a low-cost web hosting service that doesn’t feel like a low-cost web hosting service. That’s why we think it’s the best option for most folks.
The package, however, does not include a domain name, so you’ll have to purchase one individually. You can do so through Hostinger or one of our recommended domain registrars. The cost of a domain is $8.99 per year, plus $5 per year for domain protection. We recommend installing protection since it keeps your personal information as the website’s owner hidden from internet hackers.
2. It’s fast
It’s very important that your website loads fast. Customers will become frustrated if a web page takes more than a few seconds to load, and they will eventually leave your site. According to a Google study, a one-second delay in mobile website load times can reduce conversion rates by as much as 20%. You can very well forget about getting that user to visit your website if it takes more than 3 seconds to load.
3. A free domain and free website builder
4. Strong uptime record
Aside from page load times, it’s also critical that your website is “up” and accessible to users. Hostinger accomplishes what every web hosting platform should: it keeps your website up and running! Although every web server will experience downtime from time to time, ideally for routine maintenance or updates, you don’t want your site to remain down for more than a few hours.
Ideally, you’ll have some scheduled downtime throughout the month without taking your site offline for more than 3 to 5 hours. I keep track of the uptime and server response time of a test site hosted on Hostinger.
